A color pencil test on another small card.
The honorable steward and advisor of Princess Toadstool, Toadsworth!

Why exactly him? I've been watching the walkthrough of "Bowser's Inside Story" for a few days, and this scene simply cracked me out. I mean, anyone probably would panic if they were Toadsworth, but sit calmly and drink tea just like that?.. :omg::giggle:

Anyway, here he is - after the adventure's over, enjoying some Royal Mushroom Tea somewhere in the garden.
And because it''d be a shame not to share, hope it's enough: :tea: :tea: :tea: :tea: :tea: :tea: :tea: :)

13.09.11. EDIT - *TechnezthaTronBlue owns the original pic!

A style akin to a royal painting, that's what this one is.

lol I loved this guy. He was one of the only characters with a good voice actor in Super Mario Sunshine XD Bowser's was HORRIBLE. It made me want to explode...
Such a nice picture and a funny scene XD I love the colours, like always. They never stop amazing me. XD good work!

Oh and I'm working on a picture from your fanfic now. You don't mind if it's digital do you? If you want I'll make one traditional, because I believe I promised more than one picture XP.

Do as you please, I don't restrict artist's freedom :) Of course, I'd love to see a traditional one as well! :excited:

I love the colours, like always. They never stop amazing me. XD
And that's not even Prismas, just regular Cariocas.
Toads are all fun to draw, mustached or not. I'd draw even more - and surely will. Later. Because now I'm simply sinking in to-do tasks... :blushes:

You don't even use prismas? Wow... I bet you could make Crayola look good! XDD Yes, toads rock.

Oh come on. :> "Indigo Sleep" turned out really touching.

Because Prismas aren't even sold where I live (they can be only ordered via e-shops, which is more pricey). :P But as they say, "an artist must try their best with what they have".
As for Crayola, I don't know... :) Maybe, if the format is large enough. Crayons don't suit for small works...

LOL Indigo Sleep also ate two of my Indigo Pencils but we shall see ^^ less of a certain colour the less they wear down. Indigo is actually a pencil I use to find my self having to get one or two new ones of every week or so because I used it so much XP
Wow, I have a friend in New Zealand that says they don't get them where she lives either. It seems Prismas don't like being sold anywhere but US and France :o and they are expensive but I know a site that sells them alot cheaper than you can even get in the store. (They sell them 88 cents for pencil rather than 2 dollars per pencil, alot cheaper)
Ah, you're right on that. I really don't like crayola but I have used them and I know for a fact that they stink when it comes to little details. That applies to their crayons and coloured pencils.

But you don't have to make such a thick layer of one color - some dark folds with a lighter layer over them (if Bow sleeps on a blanket) or the floor texture would be enough. Or the background was meant to be all solid and blue?

I wish color pencils were sold separately here in Russia as well... I've seen only pan watercolors, tube oils and sometimes acrylics being sold like that, but pencils always come in sets.

It was meant to be a solid-ish blue XP it was suppose to be grass but my last green was the size of my pinky so i made it indigo XDDD I don't know what I was thinking in all honesty XP

Really? That's not good at all- I would be totally broke! :( All of my blacks and blues are constantly getting replaced.

Oh! I made a test animation earlier out of frustration- long story (and don't worry I haven't forgetten about those Yari pics and i don't want to upload anything before them without your permission) so that's why I'm asking do you want to see the animation? It's just a quicky of Bowyer rolling around his eyes XD sorta like how he does in the game.

Pinky-sized pencils can be inserted into old marker caps. Or into special lenghters (check out on DickBlick, I don't remember if they still exist).

Depends. :) I know someone who can make a masterpiece with only one color - ~vinci, for example. Plenty of monochromatic, yet BRIGHT (by mood and details) pieces.

And yes, I'd surely like to see that Bowyer.
